LABOR-ONLY MOVING HELP
You rent and drive the moving truck. College Movers provides the friendly, hardworking crew to help load or unload it.
Whether you are using a U-Haul, Penske, Budget, trailer, or another customer-provided rental truck, our local college movers can handle the heavy lifting. Get straightforward hourly moving labor for homes, apartments, storage units, and offices—with a two-hour minimum.
Important clarification: College Movers provides moving labor only. The customer supplies and drives the truck and provides any moving blankets, straps, dollies, or packing materials needed for the job.
Help With the Hard Part of a DIY Move
Renting your own truck can help you stay in control of your move without doing all the lifting yourself. A College Movers crew can meet you at the pickup address, the destination, or both.
Our moving labor can help with:
- Carrying boxes and furniture to or from your rental truck
- Loading a customer-provided truck or trailer
- Unloading and placing items in the rooms you choose
- Navigating stairs, elevators, apartments, homes, and storage units
- Moving furniture that is ready to be safely carried
- Following your labels and room-placement plan
We do not rent, supply, transport, or drive the truck.
Loading Help
Tell us where the truck is parked, what needs to be moved, and how much time you have reserved. Your crew will carry your prepared belongings and load the customer-provided truck while making practical use of the available space.
For a smoother loading appointment, have boxes sealed, furniture emptied when appropriate, pathways cleared, and truck access arranged before the crew arrives.
Unloading Help
When you reach your destination, a local College Movers crew can unload your rental truck and place furniture and boxes in the rooms you identify. You stay in charge of the move and the truck; we take on the carrying.
If your new building has an elevator, loading dock, gate code, parking restriction, or required reservation, please arrange it before the scheduled start time.

How It Works
1. Reserve your truck
Choose, rent, and drive the moving truck that fits your move. Make sure any needed blankets, straps, dollies, and packing supplies are ready.
2. Book your College Movers crew
Choose your city, date, start time, crew size, and estimated number of hours. Our moving-labor appointments have a two-hour minimum.
3. Meet the crew and direct the move
Show the crew what needs to be moved and where it should go. At the destination, identify the correct rooms so unloading stays organized.
Straightforward Hourly Moving Labor
You pay for the moving crew rather than a full-service moving truck. College Movers uses hourly labor pricing with a two-hour minimum, making it a practical option when you already have transportation arranged.
See the current Pricing page for the applicable mover rate and booking terms in your area.
