Thank you for booking College Movers. Below are the main details to know before your crew arrives. If anything about your move changes, contact our office as soon as possible so we can keep the schedule accurate.

Before Your Movers Arrive

• Have boxes packed, sealed, and ready to move.
• Reserve elevator, loading dock, or parking access if your building requires it.
• Keep walkways clear so the crew can move safely and efficiently.
• Let us know in advance about heavy or unusual items such as safes, pianos, appliances, or oversized furniture.
• Make sure the truck, trailer, container, or storage unit is available before the movers arrive.

Pricing And Payment

• Labor starts at $50 per hour per mover with a two-hour minimum.
• Reserved-time minimum: For bookings of 4 hours or more, your minimum billable time is one hour less than the time you reserve. For example, an 8-hour reservation has a 7-hour minimum charge, even if the move finishes earlier. This lets us fairly reserve your crew’s schedule.
• Payment is collected after the job is completed by invoice.
• A 3% credit card processing fee applies unless payment is made by Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo.
• College Movers does not accept cash.

What College Movers Provides

• Hardworking moving labor for loading, unloading, in-home moving, and heavy lifting.
• Shoulder dollies and basic moving labor equipment used by the crew.
• Clear communication from the office if the schedule needs adjustment.

What Customers Provide

• The moving truck, trailer, storage container, or storage unit.
• Boxes, packing supplies, blankets, straps, and other moving materials.
• Access details, gate codes, parking instructions, and building requirements.

Arrival Window And Schedule Notes

Our movers may arrive shortly after the appointment time when they are coming from another job or delayed by traffic. If you do not hear from your movers by the appointment time, contact our office and we will help check the schedule.

Cancellation Policy

A $25 per mover cancellation fee may apply if the job is not canceled by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Early notice helps our office and the student movers plan their day.
